Quality Control Inspector – Caravan Manufacturing

• Full time permanent 6.30am-3pm Mon-Fri
• Monthly RDO, fastest grown caravan manufacturer
• $28-$36/hr + o/time

About the Role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all caravans meet company quality standards, Australian Design Rules (ADRs), and relevant compliance requirements before leaving the factory. You will work closely with production, engineering, and management to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process and final fit‑out stages
• Inspect structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing workmanship
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards, ADRs, and internal quality procedures
• Identify defects, non‑conformances, and root causes
• Document inspection results and prepare quality reports
• Work with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained in inspection areas

About You

• Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in caravan, RV, automotive, marine, or manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail with a hands on, practical approach
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Australian Design Rules (ADRs) and compliance requirements (advantageous)
• Ability to read specifications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Trade background or technical qualification (desirable but not essential)
