Job Summary:

We are currently on the lookout for a skilled and organised legal secretary to service our Conveyancing Team. The right candidate will have an appreciation for the importance of the client relationships and unite with our values.

What You Bring:

Excellent client service skills with a genuine commitment to providing a positive client experience

Confidence in liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other key stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Experience desirable with relevant software including PEXA, Titles, VOI’s and experience with OP and NetDocuments

A commitment to growing with the team and contributing to a long-term, stable working environment

Law students are welcome to apply if they are prepared for a minimum commitment of 2 years within the support role

Key Responsibilities:

Matter management including opening, key date coordination, and purging of conveyancing files

Drafting of correspondence and use of precedents to prepare letters, and legal forms under delegation from the Conveyancing Clerks and Solicitors

Deliver high-quality service to the clients and Clerks with a focus on the client experience

Data entry management to capture client information and manage Practice Management Software

Maintain regular and clear communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process

Assist with the preparation of settlements using electronic platforms (PEXA)

Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture

Law Graduates are encouraged to submit expressions of interest for upcoming opportunities in one of Property Law Teams.
