About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Solicitor to join our highly regarded Wills, Estates & Succession Planning team. This is a full time, permanent position created to support team capacity during
an upcoming period of parental leave, with ongoing long-term career
opportunities within the practice. You will work alongside an
experienced team and a progressive, supportive team leader who values balance
between family commitments and professional excellence. This role offers
genuine autonomy, high-quality client work, and strong internal and external
CPD opportunities, including webinars and special interest group conferences.
Coaching for Junior Solicitors is structured as you are supervised and developed by our
Wills and Estates Partner, with the support of the wider team of experienced Solicitors
and Law Clerks.
Responsibilities:
· Provide high-level advice on wills,
testamentary trust wills, enduring powers of attorney, succession planning, and
partnership or trust structures.
· Prepare clear, comprehensive legal
documents including wills, EPOAs, and ancillary documents.
· Support clients with estate planning
strategies that integrate personal, family, and business objectives.
· Advise on deceased estates, including
probate and ancillary applications.
· Manage multi-generational transfers
and succession planning for grazing and farming families.
· Build and maintain strong client
relationships, delivering tailored and empathetic solutions.
· Maintain accurate, organised
documentation and adhere to best practice standards
Skills:
· Unrestricted practicing certificate
in Australia.

Preferred 2+ years PAE, however, Junior admitted Solicitors, or Graduates
expected to be admitted prior to July 2026 are welcome to apply.

Experience in wills, estates, property or succession law desirable (Queensland
experience preferred).
· Strong communication skills with the
ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and confidently.
· High attention to detail, strong
organisational skills, and a proactive, solution focused mindset.
· Client centred approach with the
professionalism to navigate sensitive family dynamics
