Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Claims Consultant to join our team part-time (30hrs per week). The successful candidate will manage and process car rental claims, ensuring a smooth and efficient claims handling process for both customers and the company. You will work closely with customers, third-parties, and internal teams to resolve claims quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Process claims for damages to rental car fleet, collate records, claim spreadsheets and data
- Negotiate, make settlement offers and pursue outstanding monies with both third-parties and customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth claims processing and adherence to company procedures, regulations and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to claims
- Maintain documentation and records to high standards
- General administration duties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in claims handling, insurance, or a related field (car rental experience preferred).
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organisation skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to follow processes, procedures and maintain documentation and records to high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
