The Role:
Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, this position will provide hands-on support across; talent acquisition, learning administration, work health and safety, people systems and internal communications engagement initiatives. In your own remit, you will lead our recruitment and selection processes and our e-learning onboarding systems for effective recruitment, selection & onboarding of new hires. This role is ideal for someone with some prior HR administration experience who thrives on organisation and process improvement and is ready for a degree of autonomy to own specific people and culture deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Coordinate the recruitment & selection process and be responsible for drafting job ads, screening candidates and liaising with hiring managers and candidates to build interview guides and schedule interviews.
- Through effective coordination and responsiveness, deliver a positive, seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Manage pre-employment checks (Reference Checks, Police Checks & Working with Children Checks) and coordinate the resolution of any issues.
- Look for, recommend and implement, talent acquisition process improvements.
- Manage recruitment and selection metrics and reporting.
E-learning and L&D Coordination
- Manage our e-learning compliance suite for new hire onboarding.
- Coordinate and promote our e-learning suite for general learning opportunities for all team members.
- Produce reports and follow up learners for completion of allocated e-learning.
- Coordinate our induction program including executive face to face induction presentations.
- Manage and promote Redkite’s training calendar.
People Policy & Information Management
- Manage P&C’s policy information on SharePoint Intranet site, including policy version control and intranet documentation updates.
- Contribute to system optimisation and process improvements.
Internal Communication & Engagement
- Maintain and enhance the SharePoint intranet.
- Draft internal communications including weekly newsletter, team member updates and coordinating organisational updates for inclusion in various channels.
WH&S & General Support
- Manage work health & safety infrastructure including regularly conducting office audits, maintaining first aid & fire warden information, annual flu shots and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Manage the P&C inbox and respond to employee and stakeholder queries, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide administrative support across a range of people initiatives and projects.
About You:
You are organised, proactive and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role.
- Strong attention to detail with proven document management capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- A strong interest in systems, solid Microsoft Office skills and experience using HRIS platforms such as Employment Hero. Employment Hero experience would be well regarded.
And you will be ready to:
- Own your patch of the P&C team’s deliverables specifically in talent acquisition end to end process and L&D administration.
