The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Fundraising CRM Specialist to act as a key link between our Fundraising and Technology teams. You will ensure fundraising CRM operations, KPIs, and business rules align with fundraising strategy, Salesforce best practice, and security requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Optimising the fundraising CRM to support fundraising strategies and operational objectives
- Maintaining high standards of fundraising data integrity and ongoing data maintenance to optimise donor engagement
- Leading fundraising requirements in fundraising CRM technology projects, including specifications, change management and training.
- Ensuring compliance with Fundraising regulations, PCI-DSS compliance, Privacy Act and Cyber Security requirements
- Liaising with CRM team for Salesforce configuration and maintenance requirements
- Assist with financial interfaces and reconciliations between the fundraising CRM and Finance systems
- Build fundraising reporting, analytics, insights and continuous process improvement to support evidence-based decision making
About You:
You are a proactive and thorough individual with an eye for detail. You demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, including relevant legislative and compliance requirements
- Solid understanding of data management, integrity, and privacy (including PCI‑DSS)
- Experience working with CRM systems—ideally fundraising databases and Salesforce
- Competent in producing consistent and regular recording and reporting of SF activity to specified criteria
- Ability to translate technical concepts for fundraising teams and vice versa
- Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced computer skills
- Excellent knowledge and implementation of processes to ensure data integrity, privacy and PCI-DSS legislative compliance
- Ability to foster and manage positive relationships with stakeholders, service providers and colleagues
- Ability to train and coach the use of Salesforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Collaborative mindset with high emotional intelligence
