We’re on the lookout for a skilled and qualified nurse with experience in skin cancer checks to join our team. This isn’t your typical nursing role—every day brings something new! You’ll be delivering skin checks at workplaces, giving you the opportunity to engage with a variety of industries and environments.
You won’t be doing it alone! You’ll have dedicated clinical and non-clinical support, including your own Clinical Assistant to help keep clinics running smoothly. Plus, you’ll work closely with GPs and surgeons, expanding your expertise in a collaborative setting.
We’re offering a casual contract to assist us with busy peak periods during the summer months. If you’re looking for a rewarding, flexible role where you can make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!
Duties will include:
- Perform skin checks for workers at a wide range of different workplaces across Perth Metro Area.
- Identification and referral of suspicious lesions.
- Education of skin cancer and how to protect yourself.
- Occasional regional travel as required.
- Assist with delivery of corporate flu vaccinations as required.
What is Required:
- Current and valid Nursing Registration with AHPRA(Registered Nurse)
- External Training in Skin Cancer (Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine or Dermoscopy)
- Experience delivering skin checks
- Proficient in using a Dermoscope
- Current Professional Indemnity insurance
- Current Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Current Vaccination/Immunisation Certificate (desirable)
