The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated HSE Technician to provide Health, Safety and Environment consultancy services across a range of client projects. This hands-on role involves undertaking bulk material, air, soil and water sampling, along with technical reporting, in line with ROG requirements and agreed project scopes.

Working under the direction of Team Leaders, you will support the delivery of HazMat, Occupational Hygiene and Contaminated Land Management (CLM) projects while developing strong technical, legislative and industry knowledge within your chosen field.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in HSE, occupational hygiene, hazardous materials or contaminated land management.

Key responsibilities may include

  • Execute practical monitoring programs across HazMat, Hygiene and CLM projects
  • Conduct bulk material, air, soil and water sampling across multiple client sites
  • Identify site-specific hazards and implement appropriate control measures
  • Operate and maintain industry-related monitoring equipment
  • Develop technical and professional skills within your specialist field
  • Assist in delivering projects in line with current and forecasted client scope
  • Build and maintain strong site-based and client stakeholder relationships
  • Identify opportunities for additional services within client sites
  • Seek mentoring and coaching from senior leadership
  • Continuously develop knowledge of legislative, contractual and internal requirements

Communication & Reporting

  • Respond to queries and issues from consultants, including triaging out-of-hours communication
  • Attend regular team and technical meetings
  • Assist the Team Lead with maintaining the East Coast Pipeline within Scoro
  • Contribute to accurate and timely technical reporting
