Ravenswood Gold Mine is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who has 10 years of experience in delivering civil engineering works; desirably with a background in bulk earthworks, roads, dams and drainage in mining or remote locations.
The Senior Project Manager will report to the Projects Team Department Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of various engineering projects across the mine; this includes upgrades to the Mine’s infrastructure to support its growth over the next 10 year. The position requires coordination with internal departments and our contracting partners (consultants and contractors) to successful scope and manage projects from concept through to detailed design.
This role is site based at Ravenswood Gold Mine and will be a drive in – drive out (DIDO) on a 8 days on and 6 days off roster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
1. Scope multi-disciplined work packages through liaison with internal and external stakeholders
2. Prepare board papers in support of projects from feasibility through to construction
3. Assist with the preparation and management of tender / contract documentation and tender evaluations
4. Engage and management external consultants for technical assessments and design including project cost estimations
5. Prepare project programmes (MS Project) and monitor against performance
6. Prepare and manage risk assessments
7. Report on project progress
ABOUT YOU
Essential
• A recognised degree (by Engineers Australia) in civil engineering with 10 years + relevant experience in the civil construction and / or mining
• Proven track record in managing multi-disciplined projects
• Computer literacy, MS Suite including MS Project
• Valid manual driver’s license and
• Ability to work at the mine on 8 days on 6 days off roster (Tuesday – Tuesday)
