About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Processing Trainer to support our Processing operations by delivering high-quality training, competency assessments, and ensuring statutory compliance. Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, this is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with operational leaders, the Training team, and processing personnel to build capability across site.

You will drive continuous improvement in skills development, maintain accurate training records, and play a vital role in fostering a safe, engaged, and capable workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and coordinate training for Processing operations.
  • Support the delivery of RII30420 Certificate III in Resource Processing.
  • Maintain accurate training records and competencies within the LMS.
  • Ensure the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) aligns with current operational requirements.
  • Conduct field-based observations and verify competency against site procedures.
  • Provide training performance reports and compliance metrics to leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processing operations, independently or with SME support.

About You

You are a confident facilitator with strong communication skills and a passion for developing others. Your background includes working in Mining, Processing, or Training roles, and you’re comfortable delivering assessments, coaching personnel, and supporting a positive safety culture.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer & Assessor Skill Set / TAESS00021 Facilitation Skill Set or Cert III Resource Processing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience Gold Processing Plant Operations, Training, or Assessment
  • Experience with training and safety management systems
  • C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent organisation, adaptability, and self-management skills
  • Demonstrates integrity, respect, and commitment to safety
