We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Birriah Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in fabrication, welding, and heavy industry. You will learn from experienced tradespeople while gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
This role is identified for Birriah Traditional Owners.
As a Birriah Apprentice Boilermaker, you will learn to:
• Fabricate, weld and repair metal structures and equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
• Assist qualified trades with daily tasks
• Follow all workplace health & safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Identified as a Birriah Traditional Owner
• Willing to learn and committed to completing a trade qualification
• Safety focused with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Mechanically minded with a hands on approach
• Able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
Essential Requirements
• Completed Year 10 or equivalent
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Valid driver’s licence
