Administration Officer
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team. This permanent opportunity will report to the Statutory Compliance Superintendent and be a vital member of the Administration Team. You will be responsible for providing high quality, timely and efficient administration support to the Ravenswood Operations Maintenance and Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrated experience in a fast paced Administrative role
- Management of contractor and visitor site access to site requirements comply with site specific policies and procedures.
- Management of compliance records for contractors, visitors and employees.
- Liaising with Clinic Team regarding site medical requirements.
- Liaising with various stakeholders to co-ordinate booking of training courses.
- Coordination of travel requirements for staff and visitors as required.
- Management of Catering requests as required.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and maintaining personnel and training records.
- Quality control of system databases with regards to record keeping of site training and safety files.
- Managing an adequate stock of supplies and consumables for the areas including checking and receipting of the associated invoices.
About you:
- An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar fast paced role.
- Strong administrative experience preferably working in a mining operation site administration role with a strong focus on customer service
- Exceptionally organised and proactive in your approach to work, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise a variety of complex tasks.
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and general high level computer aptitude.
- Previous experience with Pronto, People Tray and Gallagher systems would be highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication capabilities and a dedication to teamwork.
- Ability to work on a mine site roster and in a remote mining environment.
- Solid work ethic and willingness to support our stakeholders when required.
