Job Title: Data Engineer (1-3 Years Experience) – Data and Analytics Focus

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Data Engineer who excels in communication, is a quick learner, and is eager to tackle complex challenges in the dynamic airline industry. This role is perfect for someone with 1-3 years of experience who wants to apply strong analytical and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities: Cultivating Technical and Collaborative Excellence
Development & Execution:
Develop, test, and deploy efficient, maintainable software solutions, primarily focusing on data processing and core system features.
Apply SQL writing skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Leverage Python for application logic and scripting.
Utilise code management tools like Git for version control and collaborative development, ensuring clean branching and merging practices.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Business Analysts) to clearly understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to articulate technical concepts and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Effectively manage interactions with stakeholders, understanding their needs and setting realistic expectations.
Work closely with the QA team to guarantee the delivery of robust and accurate airline revenue audit results.
Support the existing applications and work on continuous improvement and enhancements.
Process Acumen & Documentation:
Possess the ability to understand and prioritise tasks effectively, focusing efforts on high-impact solutions that align with business objectives.
Maintain high-quality, clear, and comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and system design, ensuring knowledge transfer and system resilience.
Utilise production tools (e.g., Jira, Zoho Ticket – if familiar) to track progress, manage tasks, and resolve support tickets, ensuring transparency in workflow.
Problem Solving & Learning:
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and devise innovative solutions.
Demonstrate a commitment to being a quick learner, rapidly grasping new technical concepts and the complexities of the airline revenue management domain.
