Summary:

The Continuing Professional Development Program Coordinator will support the delivery of key strategic objectives that will include oversight and maintenance of data relating to Continuing Professional Development governance and compliance, preparation of divisional documentation including committee agendas, minutes, policy documentation and reports. The role will also support the coordination and delivery of end-to-end management and logistics for online and face to face Continuing Professional Development events.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with members to deliver a high level of customer service and member experience
  • Provide support to members regarding continuing professional development (CPD) compliance and governance.
  • Support the Continuing Professional Development Program Committee
  • Prepare and distribute committee and working group papers, agendas and minutes.
  • Maintain College records and systems including CPD data and provide performance reports for CPD compliance as required.
  • Establish processes including CPD compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the annual CPD audit process.
  • Maintain sound and accurate financial records including outstanding debtors.
  • Source event venue options in collaboration with the Manager, Continuing Professional Development Program for face to face sessions.
  • Review event venue contracts and prepare for authorizations
  • Coordinate and support end-to-end event management and logistics for online and face to face events. This includes registrations, confirmation of event details with presenters, venues, dietary requirements, preparing materials for workshop days e.g. sign in sheets, name badges, RACMA collateral.
  • Assist with the implementation of a CPD Home strategy
  • Support organisation and divisional strategic objectives including member wellbeing initiatives and activities.
  • Undertake other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in service provision and stakeholder engagement in a membership organisation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. High level organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality service-oriented workplace culture.
  • Demonstrated high-level experience in maintaining accurate records and database management.
  • Proven experience in supporting Committees with agendas, minutes and other committee communication and documentation
  • Experience and understanding in event planning and delivery.
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a small team and to carry out duties with limited supervision.
  • Ability to confidently manage conflicting work priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to show empathy and respect.
  • Demonstrated high level skills in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Survey Monkey (or similar) and the Internet.
