Registered Nurse – NDIS & Support at Home

About the role

As a Community Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical support to our NDIS participants and Aged Care (Support at Home) clients in their own homes. This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of people across Canberra.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Continence Assessments: Conducting thorough assessments and developing management plans to support client dignity and independence.

• Wound Care: Providing expert clinical wound management and monitoring for participants with diverse needs.

• Client Education: Empowering clients and their families through education on safe medication management, personal care techniques, and health maintenance.

• Clinical Governance: Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in line with AHPRA standards and QuestCare policies.

About you

We are looking for a nurse who is clinically competent, highly organized, and shares our values of compassion and professional excellence.

To be successful, you will need:

• Current AHPRA Registration: A valid and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in community nursing, particularly in wound care and continence management.

• Communication Skills: A friendly and professional manner with the ability to provide clear education to clients and staff.

• Independence: The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong clinical oversight.

• Compliance: A current driver’s license, First Aid/BLS certification, and a commitment to regular manual handling training.
