Registered Nurse – Ivanhoe

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse / Senior Registered Nurse to join our medical practice in Ivanhoe, Victoria. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional medical services. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Practice Manager.

This is a casual position, however, part time / fulltime applications will also be considered against merit.

Responsibilities:

– Deliver high-quality clinical nursing services to patients, including health assessments and care plan development. – Assisting doctors with consultations, treatments and procedures

– Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues

– Administering medications and vaccinations as required

– Ensuring accurate documentation of patient records

– Strong clinical skills with demonstrated experience in general practice or community nursing.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.

– Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

– Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

– Experience working with electronic medical record systems

– Minimum 1 year’s experience working as an RN in a General Practice setting.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

– Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

– Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

– Minimum 1 years’ experience working as an RN in a General Practice

– Valid police check clearance.

– Working rights within Australia.
