Vocatinal Counsellor

We’re expanding our impact at Pure Insights and are looking for a passionate Vocational Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist to join our team in Campbelltown, NSW. Pure Insights is seeking a passionate clinician to deliver evidence-based vocational counselling and wellbeing support to participants experiencing complex barriers to employment.

This role focuses on improving psychological wellbeing, building confidence, and supporting individuals to develop sustainable pathways toward employment. About the Role You will deliver short-term, solutions-focused counselling to participants facing complex barriers to employment. This includes supporting individuals experiencing: – Mental health challenges – Trauma – Family and relationship concerns – Psychosocial and systemic barriers impacting employment You will work closely with employment service providers and community supports to help participants build confidence, improve wellbeing, and achieve meaningful employment outcomes. About You You are values-driven and committed to creating meaningful impact. You bring a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and are confident building trust with participants and stakeholders. Essential Requirements – Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work – Full registration with AHPRA, ACA, PACFA, ASORC or AASW – Experience working with complex and diverse caseloads – Strong commitment to client-centred and culturally responsive practice – Professional Indemnity Insurance – Willingness to obtain Police and Working With Children Checks Highly Regarded – Experience in employment services, vocational counselling, or community services – Experience supporting individuals facing complex barriers to employment Why Pure Insights? – Purpose-driven, values-led organisation – Supportive and collaborative work environment – Opportunity to create real community impact – Strong focus on clinician wellbeing and professional growth Job Type: Casual Hours: 1 day per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm), with potential for additional days subject to service demand
