This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from an Assistant Account Manager into an Account Manager position, or for an early-career Account Manager seeking a fresh start in a supportive, growing business. We’re also open to more experienced professionals, as long as there’s a clear understanding of the responsibilities and scope of the Account Manager role.

What the Role Offers You

This is your opportunity to manage a portfolio of SME clients with the support of a dedicated administrative resource—freeing you up to focus on delivering exceptional service, building long-term relationships, and expanding your portfolio.

In this role, you will:

• Manage a diverse mix of insurance needs including SME Package, Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Retail.

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with your clients.

• Maintain high compliance standards with professionalism and ease.

• Seek out and secure new business opportunities with confidence.

This is a high-volume role, requiring strong attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to balance competing priorities. You will report directly to the Branch Manager and play an important role in helping grow the performance of the Gold Coast branch.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for a motivated professional with a proven track record in broking and a passion for client success.

You’ll have:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance broking.

• Tier 1 or Diploma qualifications in Insurance Broking.

• A strong business development drive and a commitment to achieving results.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

• A proactive, self-driven attitude and a dedication to delivering real value to clients.
