Senior Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead projects and provide support to customers in the Manufacturing, Water, and Wastewater sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple platforms and technologies, with a focus on Rockwell Automation and Schneider systems.

Skills:

– Experience with Rockwell Automation and Schneider systems

– Knowledge of Siemens, Yokogawa, Honeywell, GE, Omron platforms is desirable

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, Process or Automation)

– Minimum 5 years of work experience

– RPEQ certification or ability to obtain it

– Experience in System Integration or Electrical contracting companies is a plus

Responsibilities:

– Lead projects related to control systems engineering

– Provide operational support across various platforms

– Supervise junior engineers when necessary

– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in relevant technologies

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, Process or Automation)

– Open Class C Queensland Driver’s license

Experience working for a System Integrator or Electrical contracting company is preferred

Qualities:

-Able to work independently as well as part of a team

-Good communication skills

-Familiarity with safety protocols
