Summary:

The Sales Support Officer plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction at Pro Plaster. This position is responsible for achieving sales targets through effective phone-based sales strategies, while also supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will embody the company’s values and contribute to a positive customer experience in our Capalaba store and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily Sales Target and Activity KPI’s (calls, hours talk time, opportunities in pipeline)
  • Prospecting and cold calling new customers for the business nationwide
  • Upselling and cross-selling to existing database through outbound phone calls
  • Act as Pro Plaster’s brand ambassador, representing company values and adhering to procedures and policies
  • Collect and provide customer feedback to improve client satisfaction and journey experience
  • Serve customers at the Capalaba store
  • Maintain product displays to ensure an appealing shopping environment
  • Provide general sales support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical phone sales is mandatory, preferably within the Plastering or Building Supplies industry
  • Trade experience or at least two years of proven track record of outbound phone sales success
  • High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of or desire to learn HubSpot, Cin7, and digital channels (Social Media and Web)
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable working to KPIs
  • Experience with Shopify is highly advantageous
