Intermediate Accountant – Toowoomba and/or Stanthorpe

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and IAS/BAS for all entities across various industries

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation

• Assisting in the development of effective tax structures and strategies

• Liaising with ATO and various statutory authorities on behalf of clients

• Stay updated on changes in relation tax legislation and other statutory matters

• Development of strategies in assisting clients achieve business and personal goals

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum two years of Australian experience with an accounting firm

• An appropriate qualification in the commerce or business field

• CPA or CA qualified or currently completing (desirable but not essential)

• Ability to quickly adapt to new software (experience using Xero, MYOB, Reckon and APS would be an advantage)

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Positive, enthusiastic, and a professional attitude
