Description

Enrolled Nurse – School Health Program Metro Adelaide | School Hours | Flexible Part-Time & Casual Opportunities

Make a real difference—right where it matters most.

At Pop-Up Health, we’re passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of young people. Our School Health Program places nurses directly into school communities, where they become a trusted, consistent presence for students and staff alike.

We’re currently looking for an Enrolled Nurse who is seeking meaningful, rewarding work within a structured school environment—no night shifts, no weekends, and hours that fit your lifestyle.

About the Role This role offers the opportunity to work within schools across metro Adelaide, typically between 8:30am – 3:30pm.

You’ll be embedded within a school community, providing essential healthcare support and helping create a safe, supported environment for students to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide first-line clinical care and triage for student presentations
  • Administer medications and monitor individual care plans
  • Support students with chronic or complex health needs
  • Respond to incidents and provide first aid when required
  • Work closely with school staff to promote a safe and healthy environment

This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll be trusted to manage your day, while still being supported by a dedicated clinical and operational team.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work school hours – enjoy your evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Structured, consistent shifts – no unpredictability
  • Be part of a school community and build meaningful relationships
  • Make a genuine impact on children’s health and wellbeing every day
  • Supportive team environment with ongoing clinical guidance
  • Perfect for work-life balance

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident working independently in a school setting
  • Calm, organised, and able to think on their feet
  • Strong communicators who connect easily with young people
  • Passionate about preventative health and early intervention

School nursing experience is highly regarded, but not essential—nurses with strong clinical foundations and the right attitude will thrive.

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma of Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration (Enrolled Nurse)
  • Working With Children Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • First Aid & CPR
  • RRHAN-EC Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date vaccinations (including COVID-19 & Flu)
