Drilling Supervisor

Your Role:

🔹 Supervision & Leadership – Oversee day-to-day drilling operations, supervise personnel, and coordinate resources for safe and efficient task execution.

🔹 Operational Excellence – Conduct pre-starts, allocate work crews, manage production schedules, and ensure adherence to HSE and quality standards.

🔹 Drill Rig Operation & Maintenance – Safely operate, rig, and de-rig Soilmech drill rigs, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance.

🔹 Safety & Compliance – Ensure all team members follow HSEMP guidelines, wear proper PPE, and uphold site safety standards.

🔹 Technical Expertise – Read and interpret construction and design drawings, drill holes to specifications, and record installation data.

🔹 Training & Development – Mentor and train offsiders/spotters, ensuring competency and safe work practices.

🔹 Emergency Response & Reporting – Act as an on-site contact for incidents, report safety and quality concerns, and provide daily performance updates to management.

What You Bring:

✔ Strong leadership skills with experience supervising large teams

✔ Expertise in operating Soilmech drill rigs (SM14, SM20)

✔ Ability to read and understand construction/design drawings

✔ Commitment to safety, quality, and efficient project execution

✔ Hands-on experience in drilling, rigging, and machine maintenance

✔ A proactive approach to problem-solving and team coordination
