Control Systems / Electrical Engineer (Water & Wastewater)
FIFO 15/13 or Local 5/2 Karratha | Control Systems Focus | Regional Infrastructure Projects
We are looking for a Control Systems or Electrical Engineer (with strong control systems capability) to the delivery, maintenance and commissioning of essential water infrastructure in remote WA communities. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work FIFO 15/13 Karratha or locally on a 5/2 roster.

- Support project delivery, maintenance activities and field‑based trade crews
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for operational and project-based infrastructure
- Design, review and improve water and wastewater system components
- Prepare scopes, specifications and technical documentation
- Conduct and oversee FAT, commissioning activities and site inspections
- Assist field crews with fault finding and electrical/control system queries
- Develop, monitor and maintain SCADA, PLC and telemetry systems
- Demonstrated 5 years of experience in similar roles within water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and community representatives
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated 5-yrs experience in similar role
- Experience with SCADA, PLCs, switchboard design and telemetry systems
- Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes
- Proficiency with relevant SCADA and PLC programming software.
- C‑Class manual licence
- First Aid and CPR
- Experience with RO, EDR or ion‑exchange systems
- Salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 per annum.
