About the Opportunity
Phendit Disability & Home Care Services is seeking a reliable and compassionate Female Domestic Staff member to support elderly Australians and NDIS participants in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming home environments.
This position is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award) – Level 2, Pay Point 1, appropriate for employees performing routine domestic assistance duties under general supervision.
Salary & Benefits
- $43.23– $47.16 per hour + Superannuation (depending on experience and employment type)
- Penalty rates for evenings, weekends, and public holidays (as per SCHADS Award)

The Role
This role involves providing routine domestic assistance services to participants in accordance with care plans and organisational policies.
Duties include:
- General house cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Laundry and changing bed linen
- Occasional deep cleaning and home organisation
- Completing allocated tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Operating cleaning equipment safely
- Adhering to WHS, infection control, and risk management procedures
- Maintaining professional and respectful participant engagement
About You

- Have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety principles
Previous domestic cleaning experience in aged care, disability, or community settings is highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
- Current National Police Check
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Valid Australian work rights
