We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team and provide leadership in delivering outstanding care in the Community, aged care and NDIS sectors.
About the Role
As a Nurse Manager at People First Healthcare you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of nurses, ensuring that high standards of care are met. You will be actively involved in team coordination, staff development, and the implementation of clinical best practices. In this leadership role, you will help to foster a positive, collaborative environment while promoting the continuous improvement of care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate daily nursing activities and ensure staffing levels are adequate.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Lead and participate in team meetings to ensure clear communication.
- Promote a positive team culture and encourage professional development.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, regulations, and protocols.
What You Bring
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Nurse.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a Community healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to implement best practices in patient care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for developing teams and fostering continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
