The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth, expand referral networks, and strengthen strategic partnerships across our healthcare and allied health services.

Reporting to the Sales and Growth Manager, you will play a critical role in executing growth strategies, identifying and converting new opportunities, and building long-term relationships within the aged care and healthcare sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives on relationship building, market engagement, and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities aligned with organisational growth objectives
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, driving consistent lead generation and conversion
  • Establish and maintain relationships with aged care providers, healthcare organisations, referrers, and corporate partners
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, business cases, and service offerings
  • Support contract negotiations and onboarding of new clients in collaboration with internal teams
  • Represent People First Healthcare at industry events, networking forums, and stakeholder meetings
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and performance updates
  • Ensure all business development activities align with regulatory requirements, organisational policies, and brand values

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within healthcare, aged care, or allied health
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Commercially driven with a results-focused mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Comfortably operating in fast-paced, regulated environments
  • Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
