THE ROLE
PDP Fine Foods, a dynamic 100+ employee chilled desserts and snacks manufacturer in Southwest Sydney, is seeking experienced Warehouse Storepersons for our afternoon and night shift operations.
This is a hands-on warehouse role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for more than just forklift operation — inventory accuracy, safe dispatch, and GMP compliance are all part of the job.
⏰ SHIFT OPTIONS:
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 9:06pm, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends) $33.10 base + 15% afternoon shift loading
- Night Shift: 8:30pm – 4:36am, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends) $33.10 base + 30% night shift loading
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick and pack orders accurately using FIFO principles, ensuring product integrity
- Operate forklifts, high reach, and other MHE safely and efficiently
- Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas
- Load/unload trucks and coordinate dispatch in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders
- Conduct stock counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy
- Process receipts, transfers, and dispatch documentation using NetSuite/WMS and RF scanning
- Champion workplace safety standards and GMP compliance
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
✓ Current Forklift Licence (LF class)
✓ Proven warehouse/logistics experience
✓ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✓ Safety-first mindset with a strong sense of personal accountability
✓ Physically fit for sustained manual handling including repetitive lifting of loads up to 25kg throughout the shift
✓ Available to work 5-6 days/week including weekends
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
✓ High reach forklift experience
✓ RF gun/WMS or ERP system experience
✓ GMP and food safety compliance experience
✓ Chain of Responsibility (CoR) awareness
✓ Food manufacturing or FMCG background
