Office Experience Lead 

You’ll be the heartbeat of our Melbourne HQ—creating a warm, seamless, and productive environment for our team every day. From office operations and events to onboarding and wellbeing, you’ll play a key role in shaping the culture and experience of Pay.com.au 

 

Responsibilities  

Office & Facilities Management 

  • Run the day‑to‑day operations of our Melbourne office 
  • Manage supplies, equipment, kitchen essentials, room setups 
  • Coordinate vendors (cleaners, building mgmt, IT, maintenance) 
  • Oversee access, security passes, and visitor management 

People & Culture Support 

  • Support onboarding/offboarding and new‑starter setup 
  • Help deliver events, celebrations, and engagement initiatives 
  • Assist with internal comms, scheduling, and admin 
  • Bring ideas to elevate the employee experience 

Health, Safety & Wellbeing 

  • Act as the office WHS representative 
  • Conduct safety checks, maintain risk registers 
  • Manage ergonomic assessments, emergency procedures, and incident reporting 

 

 

About You 

You’re someone who notices the little things, brings energy into the room, and makes things run smoothly—often before others even realise a problem exists. 

 

  • Solid experience within an office management, administration, people operations, or similar roles. 
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and follow-through. 
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and resourceful—you see what needs doing and make it happen. 
  • Great communicator—approachable, professional, and people focused. 
  • Tech-savvy and confident with tools such as Microsoft, Slack, and HRIS platforms. 
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly regarded.
