Finance Intern
Our Finance team is a trusted strategic partner to the business, providing insightful analysis, accurate reporting, and forward‑thinking financial guidance. Working collaboratively across all departments to support decision‑making, drive operational performance, and enable sustainable growth.
During this 6-8 week program you will gain:
- Real experience inside a leading Australian fintech.
- Exposure to payment flows, reward economics, and financial operations.
- Mentorship from a seasoned finance team.
- An opportunity to influence processes in a scaling tech organisation.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting activities across AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial operations.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Maintain accurate and compliant financial records.
- Assist in analysing business payments data and reward cost structures.
- Support audit preparation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
About You
- Studying towards, or have completed a Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Solid Excel/Google Sheets capability.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Experience using accounting or BI tools.
- An understanding of financial statements and basic modelling.
- Previous internship or work exposure in finance or tech.
