Despite what the name might lead you to believe, we’re not doctors, medical researchers, or anything medical for that matter, apart from a few of our customers that are. We’re a passionate bunch of engineers and designers who love leaning into best practices and zombie culture.

Patient Zero is more tech company than consultancy, founded on the knowledge that better decisions, innovation, and problem-solving come from teams of people with diverse viewpoints. We work in teams alongside our customers to design and build custom software. We’re tech agnostic and full-stack, so expect your day to cover front end, back end, and automated testing across a range of stacks.

Your day-to-day:

• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams on agile projects
• Write clean, maintainable, tested code in TypeScript/C#/ReactJS/NodeJS/.NET Core/React Native/Maui/Java/Kotlin and more
• Contribute to architectural discussions and software design decisions
• Participate in peer reviews and continuous integration/deployment processes

You’ll be part of a small cross-functional team that has:

• A product owner helping the team be productive
• Experienced developers guiding the team and mentoring juniors
• Developers who like solving problems
• Automated tests and deployments

Who We’re Looking For:

• Junior/mid-level developers with Software Engineering degrees or equivalent experience
• Located in Brisbane or willing to relocate
• Passionate learners comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments
