Product Owner

Despite what the name might lead you to believe, we’re not doctors, medical researchers, or anything medical for that matter, apart from a few of our customers that are. We’re a passionate bunch of engineers, analysts, and designers who love leaning into best practices and zombie culture.

Patient Zero is more tech company than consultancy, founded on the knowledge that better decisions, innovation, and problem-solving come from teams of people with diverse viewpoints. We work in teams alongside our customers to design and build custom software.

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our ranks. Product Owners in Patient Zero wear many hats, from breaking down work with the development team, writing acceptance criteria, facilitating workshops, and prioritising a backlog alongside our customers.

About You

We value people who are passionate about learning and stacking their skills in a non-conventional way. We’d love it if you already have some experience in testing, security, development, scrum mastery, UX, or business analysis. But it’s ok if you don’t, you might be fresh out of university with a related degree in business, technology, or design.

We’ll coach you to be:

• The Sherlock Holmes of finding customers, end user and team value
• A painter of pictures; through sketches, wireframes, diagrams or even high-fidelity designs
• Strong enough to have hairy conversations when needed
• An open book, sharing your knowledge and ideas to help grow our customers and our teams
