About the Role

We are seeking an Administration and Client Support Officer to join our Service Support team and contribute to the wider organisation by providing high-quality reception and administrative support. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of services across Parkerville Children and Youth Care, supporting the children, young people, and families we serve, many of whom have been impacted by trauma from abuse.

This is a part-time, permanent position (0.8 FTE – four days per week). The position is based at our Midland office, with occasional ad hoc coverage at our Armadale and Rockingham sites during staff leave.

About you

Join our team and provide high-quality reception and administrative support that helps our services run smoothly. As the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors, you will manage calls, appointments, and enquiries with professionalism and care.

The Administration and Client Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative and customer support services across the organisation. This position exists to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day administrative functions, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. As a key member of the Client Services & Administration Team, you will provide professional, responsive, and efficient service to staff, clients, the community, and partners.

You’ll also assist the Service Support Coordinator and the broader team with a range of administrative tasks, including meeting minutes, documentation, and office coordination, contributing to a positive and well-organised workplace.

You’ll bring:

  • A qualification in Business Administration, or a minimum of two years’ administrative experience in a trauma-related field (clinical, health, or community services setting preferred).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Working With Children’s Card or be willing to apply for one.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and a trauma-informed approach.
  • Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
