As we continue to invest in innovation and future product platforms, we’re seeking a Product Manager – New Product Innovation to help discover, validate and launch our next generation of products.
This is a hands-on, early-stage product role focused on customer discovery, technical feasibility, experimentation and go-to-market execution.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Product & Innovation, you’ll lead new product initiatives from concept and validation through to initial market launch, before transitioning products into the portfolio lifecycle.
This role blends technical fluency, commercial thinking and customer insight, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead early-stage product discovery using design thinking and experimentation frameworks
• Translate customer problems into validated product opportunities and testable hypotheses
• Develop product briefs, technical requirements and specifications for engineering teams
• Assess technical feasibility, manufacturability, cost and quality trade-offs
• Drive rapid prototyping, MVPs and field testing with customers
• Support OEM partnerships, technology sourcing and supplier collaboration
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy, positioning and pricing
• Scan emerging technologies and market trends to identify differentiation and disruption opportunities
• Manage new product budgets and contribute to category growth
• Track innovation success metrics including learning velocity and time-to-market
About You
You’ll bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or proven hardware product experience
• Proven experience in hardware product development and innovation
• Strong technical fluency (battery products experience highly regarded)
• Experience working cross-functionally without formal authority
• A validated learning mindset – comfortable testing, failing and pivoting
• Strong stakeholder communication and commercial judgement
