Maroochydore GWM & Renault, part of the Pacific Gympie Dealership Group, is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead and develop our busy aftersales department on the Sunshine Coast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader to take ownership of a growing service department, implement strong processes, and build a high-performing team. You will play a key role in driving service profitability, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across the workshop and service reception.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, the Service Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the service department including workshop productivity, customer experience, warranty processes, and departmental profitability.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and enjoys building structure, accountability, and strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department
+ Drive workshop productivity, labour sales, and departmental profitability
+ Monitor technician efficiency and workshop utilisation
+ Manage service advisers, technicians and support staff
+ Maintain strong customer satisfaction and CSI results
+ Oversee repair orders including workflow, quality control and closing procedures
+ Manage warranty claim processes and manufacturer compliance
+ Coordinate pre-delivery scheduling and accessory fitment
+ Implement processes that improve organisation, communication and efficiency
+ Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturer representatives
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
+ Previous Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor experience in a dealership environment
+ Strong leadership and people management skills
+ Ability to implement structure, processes and accountability within a team
+ Excellent organisational and communication skills
+ A strong understanding of workshop productivity, labour sales and service department KPIs
+ Experience with dealership management systems (Pentana ERA experience advantageous)
+ A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
