Pacific Gympie is seeking a reliable and motivated Qualified Mechanic to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety—working across used car reconditioning as well as our retail service department.
You’ll be part of a supportive, well-resourced workshop with consistent workflow and strong management support.
About the Role
This position will be split across:
- Used car reconditioning – mechanical inspections, repairs, roadworthy preparation and quality control
- Service department – general servicing, repairs, diagnostics and manufacturer maintenance work
- You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and apprentices in a team-based environment that values efficiency, quality workmanship, and safety.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Motor Mechanic (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Current manual driver’s licence
