About the role
Reporting to the Farm Supervisor, an exciting opportunity has become available for reliable and hard-working Farm Hands to join our Farming team based in Kinglake West. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the health, welfare, and productivity of our birds, while supporting the smooth daily operation of our farm.
Responsibilities
- Monitor bird feed and water supplies
- Clean sheds to maintain exceptional housekeeping and strong biosecurity
- Be proactive in improving safe work practices and the workplace environment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Perform manual handling duties
- Operate a forklift (training available if required)
- Carry out additional farm duties as directed by the Farm Manager

Roster details
4 days on: 4 days off rotating roster (flexibility advantageous)

About you
You’re motivated, hardworking, and ready to get involved in the daily running of a busy farming operation. This role involves tasks that can be dirty and dusty, so a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in are essential. Full PPE is provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Farm Hand or Shed Hand (highly desirable)
- Forklift licence (advantageous) or willingness to obtain
- Strong appreciation for safety, quality, and animal welfare
- Ability to take initiative and work well within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of manual labour
- A strong “can-do” attitude — essential!
