Description

About Pace

At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering the freshest, tastiest eggs nationwide. Our vision is simple yet powerful: Eggs for Everyone – ensuring that all Australians have access to nutritious, high-quality eggs every day. As the leading supplier of farm-fresh eggs and egg products, our mission is to continue setting the standard in the industry by valuing our people and equipping them with the skills to deliver top-quality products and service. With egg-citing growth and expansion on the horizon, now’s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!

About the role

Join us as our Production Scheduler. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day production operations through accurate recording of production transactions and the scheduling of production activities. The role provides critical support to the production and grading floor teams by maintaining accurate records, ensuring system integrity, and coordinating schedules that align with operational capacity and customer demand.

This role can be based out of either our Euroa or Kinglake West site.

What you’ll do

  • Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for grading and processing.
  • Coordinate egg flow from farms to grading floors to meet demand and capacity.
  • Adjust schedules to respond to supply changes, maintenance and operational issues.
  • Communicate production plans clearly with production, warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Ensure packaging, transport and maintenance needs are built into schedules.
  • Record and reconcile daily production and stock movement data in SAP.
  • Monitor data accuracy and investigate discrepancies using mass balance processes.
  • Produce regular production and performance reports.
  • Support compliance with food safety, biosecurity and WHS requirements.
  • Identify and contribute to process and system improvements.

About You

Do you enjoy bringing order to complexity and being the calm, organised brain behind a fast-moving operation? You’re someone who thrives in manufacturing or FMCG environments where plans matter, details count, and change is constant. You naturally think a few steps ahead, spot issues before they escalate, and enjoy piecing together schedules, data and moving parts to keep production running smoothly. You’re comfortable working with systems and Excel, confident communicating with people across the floor and the office, and not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo to find a bet-ter way. Flexible, practical and solutions-focused, you stay steady when plans shift and take pride in making things work. If this sounds like the kind of role where you’d do your best work, we’d love you to apply and be part of the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in production scheduling or planning ideally within food manufacturing, FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Confident using ERP systems and Excel to manage production and stock data
  • Solid understanding of production flows, run rates and operational constraints
  • Ability to problem-solve, think ahead and adapt plans as conditions change
  • Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communicator who works well with production, logistics and office-based teams
  • Comfortable working with changing priorities and minimal downtime between tasks
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to simplify processes
  • Reliable, resilient and calm under pressure, even when plans shift quickly
