About the Role
Do you enjoy working with animals, being outdoors, and playing a hands-on role in a farming environment? We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Farm Hand to join our dedicated team in Carisbrook VIC.
Reporting to the Farm Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our farm — ensuring our birds are healthy, comfortable, and cared for to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable and long-term role within a supportive and growing business.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor bird feed and water supplies
- Maintain high standards of shed cleanliness, hygiene, and biosecurity
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
- Assist with general farm duties, including manual handling tasks
- Support the Farm Supervisor and Manager with daily operations and reporting
- Be proactive in improving safe work practices and the workplace environment
About You
You take pride in your work, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working as part of a team. You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable working in dusty environments (PPE provided)
- Experienced in farming, animal handling, or shed work (highly regarded)
- Flexible with working hours – you will be working on 4 days on, 4 days off roster 7am – 5.00pm. Therefore, weekend work will be required.
