About the role
This is a six-month fixed term maternity cover contract. However there is possibility that this role could extend. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner who is available for ongoing night shift work with an immediate start. As our Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning our warehousing/egg stacking facility. This will include cleaning equipment, walls and floors from egg product.
- A deeper clean on the Sunday shift of the working environment.
- Other cleaning duties as directed.
Role Details
• 11PM – 4AM Monday to Friday
• 6PM – 11PM Sunday (Deep Clean)
Location: Buchanan which is 40 minutes from Newcastle, 10 minutes from Kurri Kurri
Salary: From $31.61 per hour + evening/weekend penalty rates.
About you
Are you reliable, motivated, and looking for consistent night shift work with an immediate start? In this essential position, you’ll be responsible for cleaning equipment, walls, and floors to ensure our operations run smoothly. Requirements
• Previous cleaning experience (commercial or industrial preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Clear communication skills, both when working independently and interacting as part of a team.
• Adhere to OH&S policies and company procedures.
• A pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening, is required before you begin.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a car.
