Production Assistant / Coffee Roaster

We’re looking for an exceptional Production Assistant / Coffee Roaster to join our vibrant Production Team at Pablo & Rusty’s North Ryde Roastery. Our team is packed with coffee professionals who thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment!

About the Role

This role supports our packing and roasting operations to ensure every batch of coffee is roasted and packed to exacting specifications. You’ll work across the production areas and support warehouse coordination to help deliver exceptional coffee to our customers.

A key part of this role is providing our team with coverage across the day, so flexibility is essential. You must be available to cover shifts, including:

• 5:30am – 1:30pm (opening shift)
• 7:30am – 3:30pm (day shift)
• 9:00am – 5:00pm (as required)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial packing machines
• Assist with production roasting and batch preparation
• Maintain strict quality control and production records
• Support warehouse organisation, stock control and cleanliness
• Assist with goods receivable and general production duties

About You

• 1+ year roasting experience preferred
• Experience with commercial drum roasters (Joper, Probat etc.) highly regarded
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Physically capable and reliable
• Willingness to learn from and work collaboratively with our teams
• Forklift licence advantageous (but not essential)
