Summary:

As a House Person in the hospitality and catering industry, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities. This part-time position in Sydney offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain experience in a dynamic environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver clean linen, amenities, and supplies to Room Attendants and floors.

· Collect and transfer soiled linen, rubbish, and recycling from rooms and service areas.

· Maintain housekeeping pantries, storerooms, and trolleys in a clean and organised condition.

· Assist Room Attendants with stripping rooms and handling heavy or urgent tasks.

· Respond to guest requests for items such as towels, pillows, or amenities.

· Move equipment, cots, rollaway beds, and other items as required.

· Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or shortages to the Supervisor.

· Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management, including tasks not specifically listed in this job description.

Skills & Requirements:

· Physically fit and able to lift and move items safely.

· Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
