We are looking for a highly motivated person, with exceptional Leadership Skills to Manage our Dandenong Branch. This branch holds a small team of 6 staff, and the Branch Manager will be trained and guided by the Regional Business Manager. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the Branch Manager’s primary focus is to:
- Ensure the financial profitability of the Branch including sales, GP, wages, expenses & profit.
- Ensure stock is treated with the highest levels of respect reducing damage in yard, lost products, job remakes and the like whilst ensuring that availability of Class A products remains the highest priority.
- Provide strong leadership and management to all Branch employees supporting all recruitment, succession planning, performance management, coaching, training and personal development.
- Manage quality customer service which fosters repeat and growth business, training staff as required to meet and exceed the expectation.
- Develop close working relationships with key customers, first time customers & industry contacts to grow Branch sales and in turn advance the Oxworks brand.
- Implement & execute business directives that support the business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in the day-to-day operation in the key areas of Safety and the Award.
- Ensure Branch operations are always compliant with Company policies and procedures.
- Represent the Company Directors as a senior representative of the Company.
In summary, the Branch Manager ensures overall branch performance—managing sales, profitability, stock quality, and loss prevention. They lead all staffing functions, maintain strong customer service and relationships to grow sales, and ensure full compliance with company policies and legislative requirements. They also represent the company at a senior level.
Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in complex manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated people and leadership skills
- Knowledge of operations and financial management
- High level knowledge of MS Office, Sage, CRM and general ERP systems
- Stock and Inventory Control experience
