Wanted: Recycling rockstars to join our tribe at Outlook and shake up the Re-Use Market scene! If you’re all about slashing waste and boosting recycling vibes, we’ve got the dream gig for you. Forget boring jobs; at Outlook, you’ll dive headfirst into the world of waste management, selling rescued treasures and spreading the word on the magic of reusing.
What you will do
As part of our team, you will offer customers a unique shopping experience at our reuse market, process sales, manage inventory for resale, and help break down unsaleable items to maximise material recovery. This role is not just about sales; it’s about making a tangible difference in our community and environment by promoting reuse and recycling.
About you
While previous experience in customer service or purchasing is beneficial, we place a high value on enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork skills. We are looking for someone with excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Retail experience is highly regarded but not essential. If you are eager to learn and have a positive outlook, we are excited to train you and help you grow in your career.
Key skills & attributes:
- Working days between: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Working hours; between 7am – 5pm
- Great customer service and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality to support a busy team.
- A commitment to workplace safety and following protocols.
- Forklift licence required
- Ability to work on weekends

Additional requirements
To keep everyone safe, successful candidates will complete:
- A National Police Check
- A pre-employment medical assessment
- Drug and alcohol testing (including random testing on the job)
