About the Role
We are building a dedicated 1:1 care team to support a young participant with daily school pick-ups and transport support.
This is a structured casual opportunity ideal for support workers seeking short, consistent shifts (2–4 hours) with the potential to increase hours over time or transition into ongoing roles.
Shift Structure
Afternoon school pick-up from Bullen
Safe transport and drop-off to Malvern
Short engagement support following drop-off (as required)
Typical shift length: 2–4 hours per weekday
This role focuses on consistency, relationship building, and safe transport support in a 1:1 environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and reliable school pick-up and transport support Build rapport and provide structured 1:1 engagement during transitions Support emotional regulation and respond calmly to behaviours of concern Ensure participant safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times Complete brief progress notes and communication updates
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and punctual — consistency is essential for this participant Comfortable working independently in a 1:1 environment Calm, patient, and confident supporting young people Seeking ongoing casual work with predictable short shifts Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
Role Requirements:
Level 2 First Aid & CPR
Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check,
National Police Check & Working with Children Check
