Our team at ARB Newcastle is on the lookout for a highly-skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of their workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the highest of standards. The Workshop Foreman will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, training and up-skilling, managing inventory, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.

Requirements:

• Mechanical and/or auto electrical trade qualifications with sound knowledge & experience
• Min 2 years in a similar role
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Current open ‘C’ class drivers licence
• Eagle eye for detail with quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Work in an organised, clean and methodical way
• Knowledge of automotive fitting principles
• Monitor and report on workshop performance
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and management skills

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget
• Well presented and outgoing personality to liaise with customers and staff members
• Take pride in your work

The right candidate will manage a busy workshop and must be a team player. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, with regular overtime.
