About the role

  • Hybrid and fully remote working arrangements available

  • 6 month contract
  • $90,999 – $93,845 + 12% super + 17.5% annual leave loading + 5 additional days health/wellbeing leave

Working within the Corporate Services Directorate, the Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant financial outputs, with a strong focus on end-of-month processes, and accounts payable and receivable. This position operates within a complex, grant-funded environment and ensures compliance with funding agreements, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled accountant with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, to join our Finance team. You will have demonstrated knowledge of end-of-month accounting, and demonstrated knowledge of government funding project/grant accounting. Experience using Xero is essential, and experience using ApprovalMax and EFTSure will be highly regarded. Immediate start and capacity to perform full 6-month contract also essential.
