Casual Tutor

Ormond College is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Casual Tutors to support undergraduate students through small-group tutorials and one-on-one consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging tutorials in your area of expertise.

• Support students in building confidence and disciplinary knowledge.

• Prepare tutorial content aligned with subject goals and assessments.

• Use LMS tools and participate in tutor meetings and peer observations.

• Offer consultations and contribute to program evaluation activities.

Schedule:

Tutorials typically run 1pm Tuesday, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings (4.30–8.30 pm).

What You’ll Need:

• Experience in your discipline.

• A completed undergraduate degree.

• A valid employee Working with Children Check.

• A commitment to creating purposeful, inclusive, and student-focused learning experiences.
