Property Manager

Property Management – WA • Brabham, Western Australia 6055, Australia • Full-time

Description

Help Deliver a Property Management Experience That Actually Feels Personal

At OpenCorp, we’ve spent nearly 20 years helping everyday Australians build wealth through the right strategy, the right advice and the right support.

A big part of that is what happens after a property is secured.

That’s where this role comes in.

We’re looking for a Property Manager to join our WA team and help deliver a high-quality experience for landlords and tenants across the full property management lifecycle.

This is not a role for someone who wants to hide behind email templates or do the bare minimum.

It’s for someone who knows how to manage the detail, communicate clearly, stay compliant and genuinely look after clients.

If you are organised, calm under pressure and take pride in running a well-managed portfolio, this could be a brilliant fit.

Why This Role Exists

Property management is not just about keeping things ticking along.

It’s about protecting assets, guiding clients properly, resolving issues quickly and making sure every part of the tenancy journey is handled with care and professionalism.

That’s where you come in.

As Property Manager, you’ll manage the administration, compliance, tenancy matters and day-to-day communication across a portfolio, while delivering a superior service to clients.

You’ll also play an important role in helping clients transition smoothly from investment into property management, while ensuring every property is managed in line with legislation, systems and service standards.

What you’ll actually do

  • Manage a property portfolio across tenancy administration, communication and compliance.
  • Respond to landlord and tenant enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve issues and complaints with care, clarity and sound judgment.
  • Support the transition of clients from investment into property management.
  • Prepare and manage leases, notices, contracts, authorities and related documentation.
  • Ensure all actions are carried out in line with tenancy legislation and internal procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of communication, instructions and documentation within the nominated systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, including communication with trades and contractors.
  • Complete inspections when required, including routine, entry, exit and open for inspections.
  • Review inspection reports and ensure they are sent to clients within required timeframes.
  • Manage rent reviews, lease renewals, rent increases and tenancy changes.
  • Process tenancy applications and support leasing activity.
  • Monitor arrears, bond matters, tasks and general portfolio upkeep.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy, compliance and follow-through across all work.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This role suits someone who is confident managing moving parts, knows the importance of legislation and enjoys building strong relationships through good service and clear communication.

You may already be working in property management and want to join a business with strong systems and a clear service standard.

You’ll likely do well here if you:

  • Have solid property management knowledge and experience.
  • Know how to balance compliance, client care and day-to-day execution.
  • Can stay organised across multiple properties, deadlines and conversations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, tenants, trades and internal teams.
  • Take ownership, follow process and keep accurate records.
  • Work well independently but also support the wider team when needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in property management.
  • Strong understanding of relevant real estate and tenancy legislation.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Confidence using property management systems such as PropertyMe or similar.
  • Experience with inspection software such as Inspections Express or similar is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Property Management Licence.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • A valid Police Check.
