Description

Help Bring OpenCorp’s Brand to Life Across Every Channel

At OpenCorp, we’ve spent nearly 20 years helping everyday Australians build wealth through the right strategy, the right advice and the right support.

Now we’re looking for a Marketing Assistant who wants to be part of that mission by helping deliver clear, consistent and high-quality marketing across the business.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for direction.

It’s for someone who loves getting things done, takes pride in polished work and knows that strong marketing execution is what keeps a brand moving forward.

If you’re organised, proactive and love content, campaigns and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a brilliant fit.

Why This Role Exists

Good marketing is not just about ideas.

It’s about execution.

It’s about making sure content gets produced properly, campaigns go out on time, assets stay up to date and every touchpoint reflects the brand well.

That’s where you come in.

As Marketing Assistant, you’ll help bring OpenCorp’s marketing activity to life across content, social media, digital campaigns and day-to-day marketing operations.

You’ll play an important role in helping the team stay organised, move quickly and deliver work that is accurate, on brand and aligned with business goals.

What you’ll actually do

  • Draft, edit and refine marketing content across website, blog, email and sales materials.
  • Coordinate content production, including briefs, stakeholder reviews and external suppliers.
  • Support content shoots and production logistics.
  • Publish and update website content.
  • Repurpose long-form content into multi-channel formats.
  • Manage content calendars, publishing schedules and marketing workflows.
  • Schedule and support social media content across relevant platforms.
  • Monitor engagement, competitor activity and emerging trends.
  • Support campaign execution, including webinars, eDMs, collateral updates and digital marketing tasks.
  • Maintain organised content libraries and asset management systems.
  • Assist with marketing reporting and performance tracking.
  • Use AI tools and digital platforms to improve efficiency and output quality.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

  • This role suits someone who is naturally organised, detail-oriented and enjoys the satisfaction of producing great work on time.
  • You may already have experience in a marketing, content or communications role, and you’re now looking for an opportunity to sharpen your skills inside a fast-paced, high-performing business.

You’ll likely do well here if you:

  • Love turning plans into finished, polished output.
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without losing track of detail.
  • Write clearly and confidently across different formats.
  • Enjoy social media, content and campaign coordination.
  • Like improving systems and making workflows more efficient.
  • Take ownership and follow things through properly.
  • Work well with others and communicate clearly.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a marketing, content or communications role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and email marketing systems.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar.
  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
  • Interest in property, finance or investment is a plus.

What You Get in Return

  • At OpenCorp, you’re not just helping produce content.

  • You’re helping support a brand that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

You’ll also get:

  • KPI aligned bonus structure – reward for company performance
  • Discounted investment property access – build your portfolio
  • WFH two days per week – hybrid flexibility
  • Ongoing training and mentoring – learn from the best
  • Confidential EAP – support when you need it
